Daeu is a multi-talented American visual artist exploring the intersection of art, technology, and business through abstract art. She’s self-thought and has been painting for over 30 years using her own fingerpainting technique.
She is the founder and executive producer of daeuArt Channel, now streaming on Roku, FireTV, and Prime Video; and executive producer and host of I Paint Ideas™ Podcast.

The Process
My mission is to advance creativity in the world.
For every commissioned piece I create, I will provide resources and art supplies to children in underfunded and underprivileged communities in the United States and worldwide by donating 10% of proceeds to the cause.
I want to inspire our next generation innovators and problem solvers to nurture their creativity and use it to tackle the most significant issues facing us today and tomorrow.

What is the investment for commissioned art?
The investment starts at $10,000 and includes framing and insured shipping of the artwork to a destination within the continental United States. Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, US territories, and overseas is available at additional cost. The payments are governed by the Commissioned Art Contract and follow the milestones payment schedule. Submitting your request does not obligate you to purchase anything.
How long does it take for my painting to be done?
On average, it takes anywhere between 4-6 months from the first meeting to the time the painting can be safely shipped due to varying drying time.
I'm interested in being featured guest on the podcast. How does that work?
As a part of the process of creating your art, Daeu will conduct an interview with you to find a spark of inspiration for your piece. With your permission, an edited version of this interview would be published to I Paint Ideas™ Podcast as audio on Podbean, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Alexa TuneIn, Spotify, Amazon Music platforms; and as a video to daeuArt Channel, streaming on Roku, Fire TV, and Amazon Prime Video. Participation is complimentary.
I'm interested in book collaboration. How does that work?
Every year, Daeu is publishing an art catalog coffee table book listing all of the art created that year. To provide additional context to the readers about the artwork in the book, each person who commissioned the art is invited to contribute an essay about what their work means to them. There is a fee to participate and participation is viewed as a content-based advertisement.
I am interested in being featured on the TV show. How does that work?
Daeu is producing a reality docu-series In the Art Studio with Daeu™ chronicling her creative process of making the artwork. Every person who commissioned the art is invited to participate and be featured on the show. There is a fee to participate and is viewed as product placement sponsorship.
I'm interested in speaking opportunities. How does that work?
The annual daeuArt art show live event is featuring the artwork collection Daeu created that year. It will also feature speakers and discussion panels to bring the artwork to life and let the paintings be a catalyst to start the conversation about the art’s inspiration – your work and life’s mission. Every person who commission art is invited and given preference to be a speaker or a panelist during the live event. The event will be live-streamed on the daeuArt Channel on Roku, FireTV, and social media platforms for expanded reach. There is a fee to participate, and participation is viewed as event sponsorship.
